Place specimen on ice and deliver to lab immediately. Do not spin.

Specimen Type: Whole blood

Container/Tube: Dark-green top or light-green top (lithium heparin)

Specimen Volume: Full tube

Specimen Minimum Volume: 1 mL

Collection Instructions:

1. Place specimen on wet ice, Do NOT spin.

2. Send specimen in original tube.

Stability

Place on ice, 30 minutes (No tourniquet)
