Specimen Type: Whole blood

Container/Tube: Dark-green top or light-green top (lithium heparin)

Specimen Volume: Full tube

Specimen Minimum Volume: 1 mL

Collection Instructions:

1. Send specimen in original tube.

2. Tube must remain unopened until test is performed.

3. Do NOT spin.

Please note: capillary whole blood samples are not suitable for testing pO2, sO2, COHb, or Lactic acid.
